curabill AG offers physicians a comprehensive package of services for administration of medical practices. With the introduction of TARMED, bbv introduced a new invoicing system for curabill within a short time. The solution was implemented on the basis of .NET, C#, Winforms and ADO.NET.
bbv was engaged by curabill AG to develop a new invoicing system that takes account of the new TARMED medical charging system but can also process cantonal medical tariffs. The aim was to allow larger posting volumes while not increasing personnel costs.
The complex existing system was analysed first together with curabill and an implementation plan devised with a number of phases. Validation was performed by the customer at the end of each phase. The solution was implemented on the basis of .NET, C#, Winforms, ADO.NET and various servers. The project was successfully implemented despite tight time constraints. This was down to the phase-based development, which allowed the customer to provide feedback early on.
