An analysis device was to be developed swiftly for the HPV virus in order to diagnose cervical cancer at an early stage. Thanks to agile software development and test-driven development, bbv was able to fulfil the ambitious goal and deliver high-quality software. The C# development relied on the existing customer framework for the solution.
bbv’s remit was to develop software for a virus analysis device to enable simple diagnosis of cervical cancer caused by the HPV virus. The solution was to comply with the guidelines of European and American health authorities. An international team of 100 specialists defined the requirements in this context, which changed over the course of the project.
bbv implemented the software in an agile software development process together with a system architect and a team of ten developers. The customer received an operable test version every 14 days. The project was completed successfully thanks to methods such as test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration.
