This 70-page booklet is intended for software developers who want to get to grips with the new C++ standards. It provides an overview of the new, modern functions and language extensions of the object-oriented language, which should and can make life easier for software developers.

As an object-oriented extension of the considerably older C language, C++ has a long history and many extensions and changes behind it. For around 15 years now, the version names have been chosen based on the year of standardisation.

This 70-page booklet outlines all changes and innovations that have been introduced by the new C++11, C++14 and C++17 standards in the past 10 years. Every change is described precisely and illustrated with a code example. Developers therefore receive a good overview in condensed form. Basic C++ knowledge is required for reading the booklet (there is no introduction to the language itself).
